Santé Secures $15M Series A for AI Wine and Spirits Retail Platform
Santé raised $15M to expand its AI operating system serving nearly 1,000 stores and $2B in GMV across wine and spirits retail.
Santé, a fintech and artificial intelligence platform focused on the wine and spirits sector, has closed a $15 million Series A funding round, the New York-based company announced Tuesday. The round positions the startup to accelerate development of what it describes as the first AI operating system purpose-built for alcohol beverage retail.
The platform currently powers close to 1,000 retail locations and processes roughly $2 billion in gross merchandise value, according to the company. Santé said the fresh capital will be used to expand autonomous AI sales tools designed to help retailers drive incremental revenue without adding headcount.

The raise comes as artificial intelligence adoption accelerates across specialty retail verticals. Wine and spirits merchants face particular complexity — managing large, rotating SKU catalogs, regulatory compliance across state lines, and highly seasonal consumer demand — making the sector a candidate for purpose-built AI tooling rather than generic enterprise software.
Santé's dual positioning as both a fintech and an AI company suggests the platform integrates payments or financial services alongside its merchandising and sales intelligence features, though specific fintech product details were not disclosed in the announcement. Series A capital in the $15 million range is consistent with platforms at the early-scale stage seeking to deepen product capabilities and expand their merchant network.
