Perpetua Resources Finds New Gold Zone at Idaho Stibnite Project
Perpetua Resources reports a new gold discovery and strong drill results at its permitted Stibnite Gold Project in Idaho.
Perpetua Resources Corp. has announced a new gold discovery at the Fiddle prospect within its Stibnite Gold Project in Idaho, alongside high-grade results from an established drilling zone, the company said Wednesday.
The first drill hole at the Fiddle prospect returned an intercept of 109.7 meters grading 3.2 grams per tonne gold and 1.1 percent antimony. The prospect is located south of the permitted Yellow Pine open pit, suggesting potential to expand the project's resource base beyond its currently authorized footprint.

Separate drilling in the Clark Tunnel Fault Zone also yielded strong results, with intercepts of 25.4 meters at 4.5 grams per tonne gold and 25.0 meters at 2.3 grams per tonne gold. The continued high grades from that zone reinforce confidence in the geological consistency of the broader deposit.
The Stibnite Gold Project, based near Boise, Idaho, is notable not only for its gold potential but also for its antimony content — a mineral classified as a critical material. The dual-commodity nature of the project has drawn attention amid growing domestic demand for antimony, which is used in flame retardants, batteries, and defense applications.
The new Fiddle discovery adds a fresh exploration target to an already-permitted project, which could carry permitting and timeline advantages over greenfield sites. Continue reading at All Financial Services & Investing.
